Peony Jade Restaurant first opened its doors to much fanfare on September 2004 at Clarke Quay. We specialised in traditional Szechuan and Cantonese cuisines – an uncommon sight at a nightspot lined with dance clubs and western diners.
To create a stylish and comfortable environment for our esteemed guests, we spared no expense. The elegant and contemporary setting offers spectacular views of the Singapore River. Made out of a refurbished “Godown” – a dockside warehouse along the Singapore River – we thought none other than to give our best to honour the former lifeblood and pulse of our nation.
We focused not quantity, but quality. While many Chinese restaurants at the time sought to cover every type of cuisine and delicacy, we chose instead just to do a few things right. The freshest ingredients; masterful culinary techniques by people truly passionate about gastronomical service; tireless innovation to suit the taste buds of the local people; beautiful interior design worthy of the grandest weddings; we discovered that these were the things that people could really get behind. And so in just a few years after our humble beginnings, Peony Jade became a household name.
To honour the support that our esteemed guests put forth for us, we opened up a second location on September 2008 at Keppel Club. Beautifully renovated with high ceilings and numerous windows overlooking lush greenery, our award winning MICHELIN Plate 2019 & 2018 flagship allures the senses and provides an unrivalled dining experience.
As of April 2016, Peony Jade Restaurant is a member of Association of Catering Professionals Singapore (ACAPS).
